ABOUT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY CALAVERAS

Habitat for Humanity was established in 1976 and was founded on Christian principles. Habitat for Humanity Calaveras has been serving Calaveras County since 1994. Since our founding, we have built 20 houses and repaired hundreds of homes.

Today, we are actively building and repairing homes throughout Calaveras County. We are governed by a Board of Directors. We welcome and rely on volunteers from the community to implement our programs.

MEET OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS & DONORS

We value our community partners who, through their generous contributions, support Habitat for Humanity Calaveras’ mission to provide safe and affordable housing to those in need.   Safe, attainable, and sustainable housing for qualified individuals and families.

They share our belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live and that everyone can do something today to help make that possible for another family.

Each year, Habitat for Humanity Calaveras works to raise money to build new homes and to repair homes throughout the Calaveras community. Businesses and organizations partner with our organization to build or repair houses that a Calaveras County family can call home. With community support, our homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence that they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
