How do folks qualify to become a Habitat family?

Applicants must be local residents, living in substandard housing conditions.
Applicants must be willing and able to put in the required amount of sweat equity hours before and during the building of their homes.
Applicants must be financially able to make regular house payments on a low-cost, no-interest mortgage.

Well before we start to build another home, we put out the word for anyone interested in qualifying for the home to send us an application. Watch the local newspapers or visit this website for announcements.

Applicants may also e-mail or phone our office to be placed on a mailing list. They will be notified when the application period opens once again.
