Since 1996, we have built 16 homes and repaired many others in Calaveras County.
In the Spring of 2017 we completed two new homes.. These new houses are located in Copperopolis, California and are now homes to two families. The dedication took place on June 11th, 2017.
Our newest build in Copperopolis is currently underway! We are on track to complete the build and our newest Habitat family planning to move into their new home by late Spring 2021!

Habitat Calaveras’ Home Repair Program provides affordable home repairs for people in need. In the past year, Habitat has repaired decks, siding, roofs, plumbing, and heating systems throughout the Calaveras County. Special discounts are available for seniors, disabled, extremely low-income and Butte Fire survivors.
Our impact, with community support, moves beyond immediate needs, providing financial stability and brighter futures for generations to come.
Habitat homeowner children are: 44 percent less likely to have respiratory and other illnesses; 59 percent more likely to own a home within 10 years of moving from parent’s household; 62 percent more likely to acquire post-secondary education; and 116 percent more likely to graduate from college.
