Everyone belongs here
At Habitat for Humanity Calaveras, we believe everyone deserves a decent place to live. That includes a place online. Whether you’re applying for a home, signing up to volunteer, donating or just learning about our work, you should be able to use this website easily, however you browse.

What we’re doing

• Writing in clear, plain language

• Adding descriptive alternative text to images

• Using color contrast that’s easy to read

• Adding captions to our videos

• Building pages that resize well on phones, tablets and screen magnifiers

• Testing the site regularly and fixing issues as we find them
   

Where we’re still growing
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finish line. Some parts of our site may not be fully accessible yet, such as older PDF documents and some content from third-party tools like donation forms, event registration and embedded maps. We’re working with our partners to improve these. In the meantime, we’re glad to give you any information in another format.
